To support timely adjudication of group life and AD&D claims, the full-time Life Claims Examiner will review eligibility, make initial claim decisions, and ensure accurate payments to beneficiaries while providing exceptional service to internal and external customers. Key responsibilities Review and investigate claims to determine eligibility based on policy provisions and regulatory requirements Communicate claim status and decisions to policyholders, insureds, and beneficiaries while maintaining accurate claim records Educate policyholders and brokers on proper policy administration and address any discrepancies in policy language Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent work experience; college degree preferred Previous experience in Life and Disability claims is required 1-2 years of cumulative relevant experience is preferred
