Maintenance TechnicianI I Stanley Company, Inc., a leading supplier of automotive lighting products, was established in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1985. Founded on the principles of respect, trust, and value, we serve a wide range of customers – domestic and foreign – by supplying them with high-quality automotive headlamps, tail lamps, fog lamps.BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the maintenance of our main facility and warehouseMaintenance of HVACR systems, chilled water/domestic water/deionized water systems, phone and data cabling, compressed air systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and fire and life safety systemsPosition will require strong mechanical aptitude, strong electrical knowledge, and strong knowledge of all building and manufacturing support systemsWatch over electric/gas/water services including maintenance, repair, and installationsMake recommendation for utility and cost reductionAssist with the coordination of outside vendors and contactors for quotationsCoordinating efforts for any facilities project managementRepair compressed air and plumbing systems as neededAbility to be on call if any facility issues or emergencies were to arisePerform basic HVAC preventative maintenance and repairsPerform other duties, tasks, or projects at the direction of the immediate supervisorREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Must be available for weekend and daily overtime1 + year commercial HVAC experience3 + years in a commercial or industrial maintenance positionPreventative maintenance experienceMust be able to work Sunday's and Holiday's when the job requiresStrong problem-solving skillsOPTIONAL/PREFERRED SKILLS:Good communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detailProficient in MS Office Suite3 + years commercial HVAC experienceEPA refrigerant handling certificationLicensed Master or Journeyman Electrician in the United StatesSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyEDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GEDPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
