Candidates should have a minimum of one year of nursing experience. First-time travelers are welcome, but profiles will be reviewed by management for those with only one year of experience. Applicants must be proficient in CPAP/BiPAP management and medication titrations. Charge nurse capability on night shifts is required. Floating to different units may be necessary as part of the role. The unit comprises a mixed acuity patient population. Ideal candidates should be well-versed in advanced patient care techniques. Responsibilities may include managing chest tubes, feeding tubes, and medication protocols. Candidates will work with interdisciplinary support teams and manage a variety of patient diagnoses. This role requires adherence to strict compliance deadlines for credentialing processes. Professional references are necessary, including one from a leadership position. Travelers must have experience with the required patient ratios and charting systems. Education must come from a program accredited by recognized bodies.
